Welcome to Kirkland Masonry. By accessing our digital portfolio or purchasing our architectural plans, you're agreeing to be bound by the following terms. We've kept things simple. No complex legalese, just clear expectations for both parties.
1. Intellectual Property & License
All designs, sketches, and 3D renderings presented on this site remain the exclusive property of Kirkland Masonry. When you purchase a "Plan Set," you don't own the copyright; instead, you're granted a limited, non-transferable license to construct one single residence based on those plans. Why is this distinction important? It ensures the exclusivity and premium nature of our Modern Farmhouse concepts.
2. Nature of Architectural Plans
Our catalog plans are artistic and structural concepts. While meticulously crafted, they're not "locally engineered." You'll need a local engineer or building official to review the plans for compliance with your specific regional codes and site conditions. We provide the vision; you provide the local context. Does that make sense for your project?
3. Payments & Digital Delivery
We're serious about our work, and we assume you're serious about your home. All digital goods are delivered immediately upon payment confirmation. Due to the digital nature of these high-value design assets, we don't offer refunds once the files have been accessed.
4. Custom Commission Process
Custom commissions require a separate contract. The initial consultation serves as a discovery phase and does not constitute a commitment to build unless a bespoke agreement is signed. We believe in transparency at every stage of the 17-step design process we've perfected over nearly two decades.
Note: These terms were last updated on October 24, 2023. We reserve the right to modify these guidelines as the architectural landscape evolves.
